Pomegranate and Acai Smoothie

Healthy and delicious, this smoothie is packed full of antioxidants and protein. Serves 1.

Acai berry smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup crushed ice
  • 1/3 cup frozen mixed berries, such as acai berries, blueberries or raspberries
  • 1/2 cup vanilla frozen yogurt
  • 1/3 cup acai juice
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 scoop whey protein or powdered soy protein concentrate

Directions

  1. Using a blender, blend the ice, berries and frozen yogurt.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into a glass, serve with a straw and enjoy!
